Does any one know any mythical or magical creatures?
I’m writing a book and I need to know some magical creatures Ian can teach his tudents about. So far all I’ve got are Vampires (which I’m not going to use), Basilisks, Centaurs, Unicorns, Goblins, Elves, Griffins, Dragons, Nymphs, Faries, Pixies, and Pheonixes. I need some sort of sea creture. The best answers would be ones giving an extended list of creatures from greek mythology and european folk tale creatures who’s names are spelled correctly. Please don’t start giving me puffles and owls… I’m not asking for J. K. Rowling’s made up creatures in Harry Potter, all right.
Also, if someone could explain a Griffin to me, that would be great!
